About Us

We are a small, family owned business where the same trained Certified Arborists will service your trees. Judy Markowski, Certified Arborist and owner of Save A Tree, purchased the business in 2001 from her dad, Jim Hoder who has been in the tree care industry since 1978.

After 5 years as our office manager, Karen Means has passed her arborist certification exam and moved out into the field. Don Markowski who has been with Save a Tree for 3 years, will continue as a technician supervising our applicators. Jennifer Gwaltney is the voice you will hear when calling the office.
